Simplifying Diabetes Management: Glooko’s Mike Alvarez

Today, the platform supports over 4.4 million users in 30 countries.

Mike became CEO in 2024 after leading Qardio, a remote patient monitoring company. He previously held senior leadership roles at Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, and Novo Nordisk. At Glooko, he is focused on scaling connected care solutions that improve outcomes and expand access worldwide.
